Obituary of Gladys Daniels

Gladys Daniels a lifelong resident of Fulton passed away Saturday, March 2, 2024. She was born in Hannibal to William and Bernie Shoults on September 9, 1938 and would say she was 69 years old but feel free to do the math! Gladys was a homemaker, a beloved babysitter and retired from Birds Eye Foods after 20 years of service. If you knew Gladys, you loved her. It’s said we are all stories in the end and boy she has left us with so many wonderful, funny quirky ones. That will be her legacy. Gladys is survived by her daughter, Julie (Chris) Pepper; her sister, Florence Shoults; her daughter-in-law, Susan Daniels; her grandchildren, Zachary Pepper, Madison Pepper, Taylor (Paul) Knierman and Cole Daniels; her great grandson, Henry Knierman; her “bonus” daughters, Susan Browning, Shannon Kerr Sawyer and Debbie Smith as well as several nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, Gladys was predeceased by her husband, Leonard Daniels in 2014; her son, Alan Daniels in 2022 and by several brothers and sisters. Per her wishes there are no services. Gladys would love for you to take a trip, go shopping, drink a McDonald’s Diet Coke or have a meal at the Cracker Barrel in her honor.
