I worked with your Mom for many years through her work as Deputy Clerk for the Town of Volney, and my husband also worked with both your Mom and Dad. I will never think of Volney without thinking of your Mom and Dad, as they have been a HUGE part of the town and the progress made for residents there. While I didn't know your Dad as well, I did have the pleasure of visiting your Mom once a year+ ago and found her even more awesome in person! She did welcome us into her home and we left with one of her hibiscus plants.so there is a little piece of Elaine in Northern New York, and it is as beautiful in my garden as she is! Our hearts and our sympathies go out to each of you during this difficult time, and we hope your grief is soon replaced with all the warm, wonderful memories that she would be so proud of.
