I am terrible sorry to learn of Ellen's sudden passing. I knew Ellen as a child riding the same school bus, attending her wedding to my cousin Jim, baby sitting for her children and sharing many family memories. She was a sweet and caring lady and I know that the family will miss her, may she rest in peace. [Kathleen Soper-Fox]

I was heartbroken to hear the news of the sudden passing of my Aunt Ellen. She was a kind and decent person. She was always caring and treated me with me love. I could not help but to remember something she said to me some years back. She absolutely adored her father James Maher. Though I have a few memories of him, he died when I was 5 yrs old. We were talking about him one day and she said to me. “Lori your grandfather would have loved the person you have become.” I don’t know if she knew it but that meant the world to me to hear. I’ll carry her memory in my heart for the rest of my days. With love that she may Rest In Peace. Good bye Aunt Ellen. Love, Lori Lyn Maher (Danny & Carol’s baby)
