Obituary of Beverly J. Alton

Beverly J. Alton, 62, of Fulton, passed away unexpectedly Tuesday, January 26. 2021. She was born April 13, 1958 in Fulton to Edward J. and Esther (Jenkins) Lovejoy and was a graduate of Hannibal High School. Bev was a Licensed Practical Nurse and had been employed at A.L. Lee Memorial Hospital's Phoenix Primary Care Center for over 25 years. A selfless and caring person to all who knew her, spending time with her family and friends brought her great joy. Bev also enjoyed hummingbirds and had a deep love for her pugs. She is survived by her husband of 47 years, Donald R. Alton; two sons, Donald K. (Leah) Alton of Tampa and Matthew K. Alton of Rochester; her step-daughter, Melissa (Bill) Albranda of Oswego; her sister, Brenda (John) Reed of Fulton; her brothers, Edward Lovejoy of Jacksonville, FL and Wayne Lovejoy of Fulton; seven grandchildren; her best friend, Rosanne Foster of Scriba; several nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews and by her pug, Baxter. Calling hours are 2 to 4 p.m. Sunday, January 31, 2021 at Brown Funeral Home, 21 Flood Drive in Fulton.
