I was sorry to hear of "Doone's" passing yesterday. Doone became my step-father at 14. He was always kind to me and my children. I have not seen him in many years but will always think of him with kindness. My condolences to his family and friends.

Uncle Dune (or was it Doone, as in Lorna Doone? I always wondered about that!) was great with restoring cars, a skill our dad, Leonard, and I always envied. He will be greatly missed.

RIP Uncle Dune. I have many memories of your silliness growing up. Always with a kind heart and silly mind! Absolutely loved to talk about cars and how fast they go! One of my fondest, however, is the good ole story with mom and Ray and the stuck in the mud car!! I will never forget how hard you and mom laughed together over this!!! ❤️
