Obituary of Floyd Stanton, Jr.
Floyd Duane “Sparky” Stanton, Jr., 71, of Fulton, New York died Thursday, August 30, 2018 at Francis House in Syracuse, New York. Born to the late Floyd Stanton, Sr. and Agnes (Stacey) Stanton in Fulton, he had resided in the area his entire life. Mr. Stanton was employed as a laborer and retired from the Laborer’s Local #214, Oswego. He was an avid hunter and fisherman. Floyd also enjoyed traveling throughout the United States, but; most of all he loved spending time with his family.
Mr. Stanton is survived by his longtime companion, Connie Henderson of Fulton; three sons, Duane (Holly) Stanton of Phoenix, NY, Shy (Shelly) Stanton, Sr. of Hannibal, NY and Jacob Stanton of California; two daughters, Lou Anne Stanton of Baldwinsville and Autumn Stanton of Fulton; two brothers, Terry LaClair of New Mexico and Leon (Becky) LaClair of Colorado; a sister, Bonnie (Diane) Frawley of Phoenix, NY; 13 grandchildren and two great grandchildren. He was predeceased by a daughter, Krystal Kay Stanton; a grandson, Shy Stanton, Jr. and by a sister, Sandy Elliott.
