Obituary of Cory R. Meeker

Cory R. Meeker, 41, of Fulton passed away Thursday, March 8, 2024 with his loving family by his side. He was born November 1, 1982 in Oswego to Gerald J. and Dolores A. Meeker and was a graduate of G. Ray Bodley High School in 2001. Cory had been employed as a computer technician at Seneca Data in Syracuse, a machine operator at Birds Eye Foods and a driver for Empire Transport. He was a very intelligent, thought provoking and opinionated individual. Cory loved to talk and debate on all sorts of topics. He was a high-level gamer and content creator at various video games. Cory was the proud father of Cayden and Kenzie Meeker. He is also survived by the mother of his children, Dawn Meeker; a loving brother to Michael (Nicole) Knopp and Lisa M. (David) Dunn; proud uncle to Thomas and Justin Dunn; the Godson of Danielle Whelsky and a loving cousin to numerous cousins on all sides of his family. In addition to his parents, Cory was predeceased by his grandmothers, Hattie Stoughtenger and Helen Knopp; his great grandmother, Nettie Loomis and by his Godfather, Herb Abare.
