Greg was one of my very first employees and I am happy to say that he stayed a long time. There was a time when there were just the two of us and we got pretty good as a team doing remodels of houses in Syracuse. I knew just how long it took Greg to do certain things and we always came out near the estimate. As we grew Greg led the way by recognizing talent that came to jobs, training people, managing the customer and running larger and larger crews. We were sorry when Greg left the company, but, then again, Clara didn't chew me out anymore, so, I guess it worked out OK. I never did figure out how someone who always seemed to have a cup of coffee in one hand and his pipe in the other could get more done in a day than anyone else. He is among the best we ever had and I credit him with much of our success. For a guy who worked so hard as him I am happy that he lived as long as he did. Regardless, it is hard to say goodbye to such a man and my heart goes out to Clara and the family
